On Monday I started 5 more classes and I am slowly chipping away at getting my Bachelors in Psychology!
I have sat down and really looked at my class load and have committed to taking classes until I am done without a break. By the end of this year I will have 25 classes complete and am on track to graduate at the end of the next year. You have no idea how happy that makes me! I may eventually decide to get my Masters but only time will tell.
Once we find out where we will be moving too, I will start looking at looking for jobs directly related to my field, working with children is my goal, specifically military kids.
For now it is full steam ahead with no signs of slowing down. With Kyle leaving for a few months in the fall it will most definitely keep me busy.
This is definitely how I'm feeling haha.
Hope you all have a great day!

That's awesome! Way to go!!!
ReplyDeleteAre you looking to put certifications on top of your degree? Just because psychology can go so many different ways!
ReplyDeleteMaybe a Military Family Life Counselor? We always have them at school.
Keep up the great work! And yes - Ranger School will give you plenty of down time to focus ;)
ReplyDeleteWow!! 25! That's great! Good luck this semester!
ReplyDeleteWay to go girly! You've got this!!! Once you are done you will feel a weight taken off of your shoulder! :)
ReplyDeleteGood job, lady!! You are kicking butts and taking names! :)
ReplyDeleteI am so ready to graduate!! My degree will also be in Psychology. I am planning to continue to the masters program too. If I can do it so can you, YOU GOT THIS!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!!!!!! You're gonna do some amazing things with that degree!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats... you go girl!!
ReplyDeleteGood job, lady!! You're so close!!
ReplyDeleteWow, 5 classes at a time and no breaks? Don't overdo it, Jen, take care of themselves. You should be so proud of you! I know several military kids who would have needed someone like you!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! I can't wait to get back to school too. You're an inspiration lady! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a goal! My daughter is almost done with algebra! Then she will get her BS in Criminal Justice. She's watching graduation on tv early Sat. Maybe I'll watch.....It's way back in VA! We will for sure have a party for her! Where did you find the sign, stay calm and graduate? I would love to give one to her! She wants to work with children as well. She's applied for a job recently and we are waiting in anticipation. Right now the painters are here, prepping to paint the living room. Can't wait til it's done. Wanted to do it so it will look nice for the party, when we have it in a month or so. Take care and take a breather in all that studying so your brain won't explode! :0}
ReplyDeleteAhhh so excited for you chugging along on the school bus! There is a light at the end of the tunnel for all of us! I hope you have a great weekend, Jen! :)
ReplyDeleteYou go girl!! :)
ReplyDeleteGo on with yo bad self!!! Ha! I double majored in psych and adolescent counseling. I took my GRE's for grad school but then had one kid after another. I am hoping to go back to school soon. You are totally motivating me!!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing so well! Good luck with your classes this time.
ReplyDeleteBusy, busy!! You got this!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! You can do it :)
ReplyDeleteYou go girl! You've got this!!!
ReplyDeleteYou go girl! I need to go back to school but I can't even narrow down a program. :/
ReplyDeleteYou got this!! One day at a time and before you know it, all those classes will be behind you!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you!
ReplyDeleteIt takes a while to earn a degree like that, but it's worth it in the end! Are you thinking about getting a master's, too? It would mean even more school, but it would give you more options job-wise. Although, I admittedly don't know what much about what one would do with a psychology degree.
ReplyDeleteI agree that it will be a nice distraction while Kyle's at Ranger school. Stephen's never gone, but I imagine myself being very tense if he ever does go.
