It's March

A few years ago March was just another month but the last 2 years it has had a new meaning. March 31st is the anniversary of my Mom's passing. I can't believe we are coming up on 2 years since I heard her sweet voice. The worst part is that it happens to fall on Easter this year.

I can already tell that I'm sliding into somewhat of a funk. So I apologize in advance if I don't seem like my normal happy self but I will certainly do my best to not be too depressing. I am thankful that I get to spend some time with my family this month, we have plans to take flowers down to her tree and just celebrate her. The entire month of March I will wear her engagement ring as a tribute. I miss her so very much.

  1. I dont even know where to begin, but I am truly sorry that you lost your mom. I couldn't even begin to imagine that feeling. No matter how old we are or how old we get, we still need our moms and not having yours there for the past 2 years I can't even begin to think how you must feel. Stay strong and cry if you need to...

  4. Wow, girlfriend...you amaze me! I don't know how you put one foot in front of the other every day...much less be as active and involved in as many things as you are...and do it all with a smile! I can't even begin to imagine what it feels like to lose a mom and best friend. I don't think I'd even be able to function. I know that this will be a difficult month for you, but I hope you feel your mom's presence around you in the coming days and. She will always be with you. ((HUGS))

  5. I am sorry! The anniversary is always a tough time. Celebrating her memory is a great way to remember her, and hopefully it boosts your spirits. It has been 9 years this July since I lost my mom. July is a tough month for me, but each year it gets a little easier to face it.

  6. Oh girl I'm so sorry. I haven't lost a parent but when I was 10 my older sister passed away, and it's hard I lose someone so young. She passed just before my birthday on Mother's Day and so that's always been a bad day until the Grandkids started coming along then my Mom started enjoying it again. Take the time to be sad, it is a sad thing. But know she's always there watching you! Ill be thinking of you this month. Stay strog pretty lady :)
