Yesterday I had my 2nd opinion appointment at the hospital on post. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The Dr. I was met with was so incredibly nice and listened to everything I had to say. Since Fort Bliss does not have an actual infertility clinic it makes anything beyond clomid incredibly difficult to do. For the next 3 months I will be charting my temperature and taking daily ovulation tests to see if that helps me get pregnant. If we end up having to go the IVF direction I will be referred to an Army hospital that does IVF (there are only 6), the closest is at Fort Sam Houston. Beyond IVF would be the discussion of surrogacy and adoption. My sister has graciously offered to be a surrogate for us if we need her, such an awesome sister! That is the plan right now and I walked out of there happy with the plan and not wanting to cry. I'd call that a success.
The whole day yesterday was pretty good after the appointment I drove to Las Cruces to pick up our Jason Aldean tickets, woo hoo! It was a nice hour drive by myself, I should do that more often. I also got the title to my car in the mail. I can't believe it's paid off and 100% ours.
I have plans to go to the gym today and then off to Macy's to find a dress for Kyle's Change of Command...we have 2 months but I'm a planner. I did find a really cute Ralph Lauren dress but it was $134, ouch. Praying it goes on sale if I don't find anything else I like.
