You Asked, I answered.

Thank you so much to everyone who asked questions! Here are my answers, enjoy!

1. Ashley @ The Kitchen-Sink Chronicles: How did you meet your husband?

I actually met my husband in the 6th grade. We went to the same middle school, tried to date in HS but since we went to different schools so it was hard. He still has the piece of paper that I wrote my phone number down on. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

2. Jessi Francis @ Flawless: What is your favorite band at the moment?

My favorite band at the moment is The Killers. The leader singer, Brandon Flowers, went to my HS a few years before I did. I love their style and am really excited to see them live in May.

3. Shannon @ sitting in a tree: What would you consider your decorating style? Contemporary? Eclectic?

Oh gosh, my decorating style is all over the place. I probably more closely relate to an eclectic style. I don't like being stuck with any sort of theme or style.

4.  Heather @ The Fox Family: What is the worst part of being an Army Wife?

I would have to say the worst part of being an Army Wife is dealing with the stereotype that we are often given. I can deal with deployments, long training cycles, and late nights. I hate being thought of as a gold digger (not really much gold to dig lol) and someone who just sits around the house all day eating bon-bons and watching tv.

5. Jamie @ ChatterBlossom: When and why did you start blogging?

I started blogging roughly 4 1/2 years ago. I was just getting started in this military way of life and I wanted to have an outlet to vent frustrations and keep my family updated as well. It has turned into a wonderful thing and I have made many wonderful blogger friends.

6. Mail4Rosey @ Mail4Rosey: Where did you get that fabulous dress in your avatar?

This question makes me smile. I actually bought that dress at Sears, it is one of my favorites! Can't go wrong with the sale rack.

7. Lanaya @ Raising Reagan: You have talked a lot about the struggles of not being able to get pregnant. What would you say is the one thing that keeps you going?

I would have to say the one thing that keeps me going is my husband. He has been such an amazing support and my rock during all of this.

8. Jenna @ From Louisiana With Love : What is one high and one low of being an Army wife?

One high of being an Army Wife are the amazing friends that I have made. One low is the separation from my husband. I can deal with it but I don't have to like it.

9. Jenna @ From Louisiana With Love What is your favorite accessory and why?

My favorite accessory would have to be the double-heart Tiffany necklace Kyle bought me for my birthday in 2008.

10: Alex @ Army Wife, Mommy Life: What is the one thing in your kitchen that you couldn't live without?

I would have to say my KitchenAid Mixer. That appliance is amazing and I use it for everything. It would come with me if the house caught on fire haha.

11: Gina @ Modern World: What is your greatest pet peeve?

My greatest pet peeve would have to be people who chew with their mouth open. That is like nails on a chalkboard for me.

12. Mrs. K @ Mrs. K and Captain J: sweet or salty?

Oh salty! I'm not a big sweets person but if you put a bowl of chips in front of me they are all mine haha.

13. Julie Lynn @ Becoming a Navy Wife: What's your favorite town that you lived in so far and why?

El Paso hands down! I am a desert rat and EP reminds me so much of Vegas. I feel right at home.

14. Jackie @ City Girl Finding Her Place In The World: What, if anything, are you looking most forward to this year??

I am looking forward to the new journey of trying to start a family. We have so much hope and feel that this is our year.

15. Angie @ Life of a mommy, wife, and teacher...: Did you go to college? if so what is your degree in?

I went to college for a semester at UNLV (University of Nevada Las Vegas) and then I started working full-time. My plan is to start culinary school this year.

16: WhisperingWriter @ Airing My Dirty Laundry, One Sock At A Time...: What is your favorite snack food?

I'm not a big snacker but if I had to choose it would be cutie oranges. I could eat those ALL THE TIME. They are incredibly addicting.

These next few questions are from Jax @ the harmon squad:

17. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning:

Depending on what I'm doing to my hair anywhere from 10-15 minutes. I'm pretty low maintenance haha.

18. Do you talk to other drivers while driving?

I wouldn't call it talking, but more yelling. :)

19. Are you a neat freak or have clutter?

I'm a crazy neat freak. I can't stand clutter it drives me absolutely crazy.

20. Would you rather own a fancy house or fancy car?

I would say a fancy house. Neither really suit me but that's what I would choose.

21. What country (other than the US) would you love to visit?

I would love to go to Australia. I have heard so many amazing things about it and I want to experience everything it has to offer.

22. If you could speak another language, what would it be? And why?

Hmmm....I would love to speak french. It's such a romantic and sexy language.  Plus if I could speak the language I would be more inclined to visit.

23. What "bad" food is your weakness?

I have many haha. The hot fudge sundae from cheesecake factory is my weakness. Good thing the closest one is 4 hours away.

24. Eloquent Obi @ Eloquent Rambles: Where would your dream vacation spot and what would you do there? Who would you want to go with? Just your hubby or bring others along?

My dream vacation is Maui, Hawaii. I went in 2005 and I desperately want to go back. I think it would just be me and Kyle. We would whale watch, go to luau's, lay on the beach and just enjoy the time together.

These next 2 questions are from Christina @ One Year to a Quarter Life Crisis

25. How many kids would you like to have in a perfect world?

In a perfect world, I would love to have 4. Given our journey to have children having one healthy child is what we are striving for.

26. Do you enjoy being an army wife, and did you ever envision yourself being one?

I love being an Army Wife, I am incredibly proud of my husband.  I have made some amazing friends because of this life and we have lived in some great places. I never envisioned being one but now that I am I couldn't imagine my life being any other way.

27. Shannon @ Shenanigans Rose: Were there any difficulties or surprises that you wished someone told you about before you got married?

When Kyle and I got married there of course were things that I knew would be different. When you marry into the military life there will be obstacles and complications. As far our relationship I knew what I didn't want to go through again because I had been married before. I was more prepared the 2nd time around, thank goodness! :)

Thank you so much for all the wonderful questions, I really enjoyed answering them. I hope you all have a great weekend! :)

  12. Y'all are middle school sweethearts?? That is so cute! I agree that the stereotypes are stupid, but at the same time when I see the lazy wives that don't support their husbands I want to yell at them and tell them that THEY are the problem!!
