I figured I would link up with Ashley and Neely today for the Sunday Social. I haven't done one in a while and I really need to get better about it. :)
1. What was your first car?
I got a 1993 Saturn. My parents were so excited to give it to me and I loved that car, minus the fact that it didn't have AC haha.

2. Who was your favorite childhood teacher?
Definitely my kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Rembert. She was absolutely amazing. I would go back and visit her even when I was in HS.

I played Mercutio (I'm on the left in both pictures) in Romeo and Juliet at the Renaissance Fair. I got to sword fight and it was amazing!!!
4. What was your favorite birthday party?
I'm pretty sure it was for my 16th birthday. My parents had a party at the house, it wasn't all sweet 16 but it was a blast.

5. Who was your teen celebrity crush?
Taylor Hanson!! Oh my gosh I was obsessed. I had all of their cd's and any time they were on tv I always recorded it. Yup a bit of a crazy fan.
6. What show/movie did your parents not allow you to watch?
Beavis and Butthead haha! Our older brother would always let us watch it when my parents were gone.
It's always fun to look back and remember fun memories. Now I'm going to lay back on the couch because I'm pretty certain I have the flu. Ugh.
Happy Sunday!!
I hope you feel better! I remember I always loved the littlest Hanson (even though he looked kind of like a girl lol)
ReplyDeleteNo A/C?! Yikes! Feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't allowed to watch Beavis and Butt-head either. But my brother always did.
ReplyDeleteWe always managed to find a way. We would forget to turn the channel before turning the tv off...yeah we got in trouble a few times. haha. :)
DeleteI thought for sure Taylor was going to marry me. Haha. Obsessed!!! Glad to see I wasn't the only one
ReplyDeleteHahaha that's awesome! I'm pretty sure every teenage girl back then though the same thing. :)
DeleteHope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteMy first car was a 1989 Dodge Shadow.
No AC! I hope you didn't live anywhere insanely hot! Still a car is better than no car!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from Sunday Social!
Ramblings of a Suburban Mom
Not the Flu! Yikes! I also adored Hanson. My sisters conspired to steal my tape and break it so that I couldn't listen to it on repeat anymore. I was heart broken. Ha
ReplyDeleteHope you get to feeling better!
Aww I loved Taylor Hanson, too :) I hope you feel better soon girl!
ReplyDeleteI had a really great art teacher once that I still sometimes keep in contact with! Isn't that great though?! To have someone from such a young age have that great of an impact on you?
ReplyDeleteoh goodness, beavis and butt-head! my aunt used to watch that and my mom would cringe when she would watch it with us kids in the room! haha!
