So I can finally say that I am one of those people that sits quietly at Starbucks and works on school work. Let me just say that it was glorious!! Haha.
Since we had no furniture in the house I had no where to work, and since I had a 10 page paper due I had to do something. I have plans to make this at least a once a week occurrence. It is nice to change things up. I will likely end up there tomorrow to work on 2 finals that are due on Sunday.

As of this afternoon we will no longer be homeowners, we moved out of the house yesterday and are settling into our temporary home for the next 33 days.
Here is to new adventures!
Have a great Thursday everyone.

Yay for a new adventure!! I hope Emma and Fishy do well during your 33 days of homelessness :). If you need anything, please let me know!
ReplyDeleteI used to love studying at coffee shops when I was in school! Congrats again on selling the house!
ReplyDeleteI'm always INCREDIBLY productive when I work at coffee shops. Because there's nothing else to distract myself with! I need to start doing this again…
ReplyDeletePrayers for the next 33 days!
Sitting in a coffee shop with my computer is one of my favorite things to do in the world. Unfortunately, I haven't done it much since having children but when I do - it is out-of-this-world wonderful. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's how I felt when I was blogging from the USO! It wasn't anything super important, just catching up on social media, but I loved being in a public place and not the boring old hotel. Starbucks would have been even more fun!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your 33-day stint!
I love working at cafes once in a while! They provide a nice, refreshing new view, and somehow, I usually do better/faster work there! :)
ReplyDeleteI always loved studying at the coffee shops and library when I was in college!
ReplyDeleteI agree, change is good! And I was totally that person that escaped to starbucks and drank my coffe happily while doing school work. I was always less distracted there than at home, thinking about the one million things on my to-do list.
ReplyDeleteIf you feel like mixing it up, Panera also does free wifi, haha.
ReplyDeleteI used to love doing homework at coffee shops too! :-) How fun! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love doing changing things up. I also go to the library and sit there and do my work there as well. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI need to remember this if I go back to school. I know I would be more distracted at home.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in school I loved going to Starbucks to work on homework. It was so relaxing and a great area to just get work done.
ReplyDeleteSunflowers & Love
I bet it was a good place to buckle down but still give you a few people watching distractions. :)
ReplyDeleteI love a change of pace!
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to have a change of pace sometimes. I usually hate change, but the army has taught me to tolerate it and sometimes even love it :)
