One of the things that I have always loved about Christmas is sending out cards. Since Kyle and I got married it has always been something that I have looked forward to. I always make sure that on the back I type of a little note of what we have been up to, so we can keep everyone who doesn't have social media accounts updated. It's a fun personalization that I enjoy adding to the cards.
I wish I had copies of some of our older ones but here are our cards from 2013, 2014, and 2015 :
And without further ado here is our 2016 Christmas Card. Of course it is by far my favorite that we have ever done. I love our precious family and am so grateful each member!
Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
Do you send out photo cards or do you stick with traditional handwritten cards?
Nice that you have your cards for the past several years! I send out a non-photo card but I kind of wish I'd always remembered to take a picture of the card I make each year!
ReplyDeleteI used to send them out for the office...but I quit. It's so expensive mailing cards and it feels like no one does it anymore! I get "e cards." Haha
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with e-cards!
DeleteLove your cards! I sent out cards once upon a time but haven't done it in years. I end up sending about 75 cards out or more and it was kind of a pain. Now I wait until our family parties and give out cards with the kids school photos in them. This year was tough because we moved so I did send a handful of cards to family we didn't end up seeing on our few trips to California. We should do it though.
ReplyDeleteI love that you hand them out at family parties!! So awesome!
DeleteLove it!!!!
ReplyDeleteYour card for this year is so precious! I'm totally with you about sending out picture cards! I personally love receiving those the most because it's always fun to see how people have changed over the years!
ReplyDeleteThe exchanging of Christmas cards is one of my favorite traditions. LOVE them. :)
ReplyDeleteI STILL need to mail my Christmas cards out! I meant to send them last week but was sick all week. Haha don't be offended when my card comes AFTER Christmas! ;)
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful you still send cards out in a day where most people don't. I wish I could say that I still did! We used to send a ton of cards out to family friends coworkers etc. My husband would even write up a very cool synopsis of the year with humor and uniqueness that only he can do.
ReplyDeleteI used to love making the photo cards too. I haven't done it for a couple of years. I did save one of most of the ones we made. I like yours here. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your cards! We have ours from the last 5 or 6 years on our refrigerator, along with our current card. We do photo cards, too, because we live so far from most of our family and I always like seeing what people look like when I don't get to see them in person. This year is my favorite so far, too, although I think I'll like next year's card even more when we have a (gasp) 6 month old!
ReplyDeleteLove the cards! I don;t send any out but I love receiving them!
ReplyDeleteLove your card! Merry Christmas Jen!
ReplyDeleteLove your card!
ReplyDeleteReceiving your card made me SUPER happy! It's such a gorgeous picture of your family! I love seeing them back over the years, too. I am totally disorganised and don't do cards... But this makes me want to start!
ReplyDeleteI do love Christmas cards - guess I picked it up from my mom! ;) But sadly, most of my friends don't do cards or should I say, we're too unorganized to send them out save a few... I've gotten better over the years so...! I should have sent you one! Next year! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love looking back at Christmas cards! The last six years I was either pregnant or we added a new family member, so we always laugh! And this year with the two dogs! LOL
ReplyDeleteWe handwrite
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! I love all your cards :)
ReplyDeleteSo precious. I love this year's too!! Merry Christmas <3
ReplyDeleteYou guys look SO happy! Sending love and light - Happy Holidays! XOXO
ReplyDeleteI like the cards your shared, especially the Good, Bad and Furry and the latest one...the best! So happy for you guys to have a little daughter this year! I've been sending out the photo greeting cards these past few years. This year we had a new granddaughter and then Megan graduated from Liberty U. So there were 2 photos on it, Megan's was on the flip side. I like to write a letter too. This year it was hand written since our printer was taken apart so Phil could figure out what was happening. He fixed at least one part of it. Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
ReplyDeleteWe have been saying that we want to send out photo cards or at least cards with a photo in it to family and close friends, but we have yet to get around to it. Maybe next year. You have great cards though!
ReplyDeleteI love sending photo Christmas cards. Bagel Bites made his debut this year, haha.
ReplyDeleteI love your card! It's so perfect. Hope the holidays were great for your family! :)
