How is it already a week away from July?! This is crazy pants! We do however have had a lot going on and will continue to be busy.
*We celebrated our 7th anniversary over the weekend and it was awesome! Kyle was able to come in from the field early so we could go to dinner. We are not high class restaurant people for special occasions so Texas Roadhouse was the perfect place. We ate too much and just enjoyed each others company.
*I am in week 4 of my last class and it's going great. I am really enjoying it and can't wait to finish my degree on a high note.
*My sister finally talked me into watching Game of Thrones and I'm hooked! I'm halfway through Season 2 already and I hate that I waited so long to watch it. I guess I will have to listen to her from now on haha.
*We are running a 4 miler on the 4th of July and I can't wait! It's down in Lake Charles and it will be a perfect way to start off our 2 weeks of block leave.
*Lonestar and Trace Adkins are playing here on post for 4th of July. Two more acts that we have never seen live, it's going to be fun.
*We have everything ready to go for our trips to Houston and Orlando, it will be nice to have uninterrupted time with Kyle and just have a good time with family as well.
*Until we go on block leave I will enjoy this view as much as possible.
*We canceled our cable provider and went back to Directv, I didn't realize how much I would miss channels like SPIKE or MTV. I like trashy TV on occasion. ;)
Have a great Wednesday everyone!
That's so great that he was able to leave the field early! Glad you two had a good anniversary weekend! YAY!
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't love thrashy TV?!?! ;)
I can't believe it's almost July! I want to push pause for a while :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you guys had a great dinner for your anniversary! We cancelled cable last April. We have apple tv. It's great saving the cash but I miss trashy tv soon much!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was nice to spend the time together! :)
DeleteYay, 7 years, congrats! So wonderful, lady! Love that you got to spend some time together.
ReplyDeleteThat view looks amazing, what book are you reading?
I'm glad you had an awesome anniversary!!
ReplyDeleteI loved the first couple of seasons of Game of Thrones. My interest started to wan after that, so I just get Scott to tell me what happens. I tried to cancel our DirecTV in order to save money and Scott got all upset. We do like it :)
ReplyDeleteHappy seven years!
Happy Anniversary :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
DeleteSo many fun things coming up for you! Can't wait to hear about all of them!
ReplyDeleteSo awesome he was able to come home for your anniversary! And it seems like you guys have so many fun things coming up :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize how much I liked trashy TV until my mom has been home all day watching it! Dr. Phil, Ridiculousness, The View, etc etc.
ReplyDeleteI'm SO excited for the 4th of July! Mostly because my birthday is on the 2nd and I have company coming up from Polk for the 4th ;)
So glad you're watching GoT! It's amazing!
ReplyDeleteJealous of your fourth of July concert lineup. That will be tons of fun. And Texas roadhouse seriously rocks.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary to you two love-birds! We don't need fancy places either, and sometimes, the couch can be much better than a 5*-restaurant :-) I hope you have a great vacation; it's almost there :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
DeleteHaha, I like trashy tv on occasion too ;)
ReplyDeleteFirst off, happy anniversary! It think I already said it on another post, but just to be sure, I'll say it again haha
ReplyDeleteThis year is flying by right now. I cannot believe it's already halfway over. I'm in the final week of my current classes which is crazy to me. I feel like the term just started, but I'm excited to move onto my next courses. My husband also got me hooked on Game of Thrones! It's so good! We actually just got done watching the last 3-4 episodes of the current season. It gets better and better!
Thank you!!! :) I am so ready to be done with school for a few months. I start back up in October.
DeleteGoT is just so addicting. I apologize in advance for season 5.
ReplyDeleteMy husband has been trying to convince me to watch Game of Thrones for years! I really need to get on the bandwagon! Your summer plans sound great! Yay for getting DirecTV! Lol. I love my cable so much! :)
ReplyDeleteNext week I am off two days of work and then I go to the rodeo with Phil on the late in the week. Looking forward to it....even though is also marks the one year anniversary of my mom's death. I am going to pass it with only a wee bit of sadness.....hard to not think about it. Happy 7th anniversary to you and Kyle! And many more!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy that you got to spend your anniversary together! Boy do I miss those Texas Roadhouse rolls and butter!
ReplyDeleteI am glad he was able to come home early so you could celebrate! Your 4th sounds like it will be fun! There is a 4 miler here on the 4th that I am trying to convince my husband to run.
ReplyDeleteTexas Roadhouse for the win! Those rolls and that cinnamon butter are unbeatable. We aren't high class restaurant people either. Chilis will do for us!
ReplyDeleteGame of Thrones is an awesome show. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI'm addicted! I just started Season 4!
DeleteI LOVE Game of Thrones. Enjoy it!!
ReplyDeleteNick has read quite a few Chuck Palahniuk books. You've inspired me to try one out (from your Instagram). I never have before.
Yes to Texas Roadhouse! those rolls.. yum
ReplyDeleteOh trash tv how I miss you. I am limit to what I can watch because we only have netflix. So it means only what is on there or offered free on the channel apps.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!! <3 I *just* start Game of Thrones last week and I am totally hooked. SUCH and intense show!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! I'm on season 4 of game of thrones. You'll catch up soon. I'll be all caught up soon too. We cancelled all cable and are just watching apple tv. I miss my home shows. estherdavison@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteWow, that concert will be great! Enjoy! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting you are so close to finishing your degree! You know I love Direct TV! We may switch back to Comcast when we move, but I will seriously miss the DVR.
