Weekend In Photos

Our weekend was pretty low key which to be honest is ok with me. I finished my school work on Friday which was a relief so I could just enjoy the weekend with Emmy and the furbabies. :)

Emma and Fishy did a lot of this all weekend, I can't say that I blame them.

Mornings are always fun! You can never go wrong with tea, oatmeal, and play time with this sweet girl. She has mastered rolling over from back to front, it took her a bit because she couldn't figure out how to get her pesky arm out of the way lol.

E absolutely loves going to the park and swinging! She giggles and smiles the whole time. I am thankful that the weather has been nice enough lately to go. I love having the park walking distance from our house.

See that smile?! That's pure joy. :) She was even still smiling after I took her along for a 3 mile run haha have to get her ready for a 5k this weekend.

Sunday was spent running errands and having lunch. She is my little sidekick and we have the best time. She braved Target, Michaels, and Sam's Club with me and never let out a peep, well except the occasional squeal which really sounds like a dying cat haha.

While E napped I was able to work on updating our running scrapbook. Fishy either wanted to help or he didn't want me working on it haha.

One thing that was missing was Kyle. I hate that he has to miss out on weekends with us. Can't wait to get to Kansas this summer so we can have more time together as a family.

I hope you all had a great weekend!

  8. Sounds like a nice weekend! Good to have scrapbooks for your running items. I need to work on more photo albums online...so much to go through and get off the laptop....too many years worth! But it's fun to do it! I've not done real scrapbooks in awhile although I enjoyed it alot when I did them! Take care!

  9. What a great weekend! I can't wait for Kyle to be able to spend more time with you guys. Side note, our cat has completely mastered a baby cry, sometimes I can't tell who is crying 😂

  10. I love that you soak up every minute with your sweet girl and that you were able to finish your homework before the weekend really started! I am so excited for Kyle to have more time with you two in Kansas! This weekend was a long weekend and Nick decided to only go to work on Saturday which was really great for us. I think he's going to have to pick up the pace soon so I am just enjoying whatever time we have together.

  11. Look how sweet your daughter looks swinging! I, also, love that you take her running with you! I'm hoping one day, when that day comes, that I can do that too. I keep all of my bibs from races and put them in a little scrapbook with my place and time, so I won't forget!
