Yesterday, E and I went to lunch with a dear friend of mine and we went to a cute new place in Leesville called Hazel's Tea Parlor. How cute is this place?!
This was actually the first time that I have went to a traditional tea parlor and it was such a fun experience. I really wish I had taken more pictures but you can check out their facebook (the link is above) to see more photos. They have the dining side that has 6-8 tables and a lounge side that has comfy couches and chairs.
I was a little nervous to take E because it was such a nice little place but they were so welcoming and wonderful. The waiter brought out a hot pink highchair for her and gave her some animal crackers. She was a happy camper and loved everyone. She smiled from ear to ear any time anyone looked at her.
Kim and I loved the food! I had vegetable soup, chicken salad tea sandwiches, and sugar cookies for a sweet treat. They have over 50 varieties of tea, I settled on the chamomile citrus and it was delicious. I will definitely be going back!
I wish I had thought to take a picture of the 3 of us but Kim snapped this photo of me and E. Excuse cranky butts face she was due for a nap haha.

I love outings like this, there may not be a whole lot to do in our little town but we make the most of it that's for sure.
That is very cool! I love traditional places like that!
ReplyDeleteMe too! I can't wait to go back!
DeleteThis is so cute!! What a fun thing to do. I don't know if you remember in Vegas, but they had a small tea house like this over on Sahara growing up. I doubt it is still there, but It was so fun and cute! They even had a little hat station where you could dress up in a fancy hat for your tea!
ReplyDeleteAw so cute. True story, I did a pageant YEARS ago in Leesville...maybe I told you this...called West Louisiana Forestry Festival. One of my fave pageants. Everyone was so nice and an officer in the army was one of our judges, lol. Give my state a hug for me.
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing!!! We went to that festival last year and it was awesome!!!! :)
DeleteLove it! We have a tea parlor by my old high school and me and a friend would go there at least 2 times a year to catch up. The tea sandwiches are so good!
