I can't believe that we are well into the month of November. This year is absolutely flying by. I am excited that we are going to LV for Thanksgiving to see family. My husband is absolutely amazing and agreed to me (and our pup, Emma) flying up a few days early so I can be there for this sweet girls 6th birthday:
Our niece, Kylie.
I will also get to be there for my sister, Lisa's birthday as well (it's 2 days after Kylies). We are going to see the final Twilight movie together (already bought tickets haha), it should be a great girls night out.
Sisters! :)
This week I am going to be finishing up some Christmas shopping (I know you probably think I'm crazy lol), since we won't be in LV for Christmas I want to make sure that the shopping is done really early. I am excited to spend Christmas in our new house in Texas. We are going to try and go to LV for maybe a week after the holidays and before Kyle starts work but we will see how everything works out.
With all the talk of holidays and food, I had the urge to bake something yesterday, this is what I came up with:
Spice Cupcake with Buttercream Frosting and Caramel Drizzle (cupcake and frosting are homemade)
They are delicious!! If you want the recipes keep an eye out on my food blog
I hope you all are having an amazing Wednesday!
Sounds like fun! We have no idea what the holidays next year will entail. Mac's course ends in November, so we could PCS over Thanksgiving. And we have no idea where we'll be moving.

Yay for spending Christmas in your new house!
ReplyDeleteThat cupcake looks delicious! I just wanna gobble it up, lol.
Did you catch SOA last night? I can't believe Gemma is actually going through with Jax's plan. I really hope him and Tara are being honest with her.
Have a great day!
Thanks for the follow, I'm following you now too (mostly because we share the same crazy early Christmas shopping tendencies. I'm planning a post of my semi-Christmas hoarding ways soon haha)!

Yay for the holidays! I am over halfway done with my shopping as well. I ALWAYS wait until the last minute, but can't predict as to where we will be so I just bit the bullet! I have to admit it feels amazing!
ReplyDeleteI sooooo want to see the new twilight! But I have no one to go with. Maybe I'll go on one of my mom's days off so she can watch my daughter.
ReplyDeleteI'm already in full Christmas preparation mode too! It's the earliest I've ever prepared and it's screwing with my mind... a few weeks ago I ran to Hobby Lobby to get a couple things I needed for the gifts I'm making and when I checked out the cashier was like "Happy Halloween!" and it confused the crap out of me for a few seconds. And how do you guys stay so trim with all the goodies you are constantly making??
ReplyDeleteThat cupcake looks amaaaazing!
ReplyDeleteHave a fun trip!! I am also trying really hard to get my Christmas shopping done early. My goal is to be done by December 1st.
ReplyDeleteAnd ooooohhhh my gosh, that cupcake looks delicious!! I'll have to head over to your food blog now!
I'm so excited for Twilight! I hope you have a blast in LV!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by the blog hop and following along, i'm following back now :)
