I can't believe it has been 2 years since we made the move to Polk. I remember the day at Bliss when we found out that Kyle's unit would be shutting down, we knew we didn't want to stay there so it was a mad dash to figure out our next move. Thankfully, Kyle was given an opportunity by a former boss and that put Polk in our future. We sold our house in El Paso and 30 days later we were on the road to Louisiana. Of course the thought of having my family only 7 hours away made the decision that much sweeter.
I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason. Had Kyle's unit not shut down we would not have moved to Louisiana. Had we not moved to Louisiana Kyle would have likely not been given the referral to the fertility doctor in San Antonio. Had he not gone there and had surgery we would not have our daughter right now.
I couldn't imagine not having this sweet little face to look at everyday.
Even when she is angry at me for making her sit up lol.
What a wonderful life! She is a beauty!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteAhhhh the Army. There's always a silver lining to 99% of the stuff they put us through, I've decided. And that little girl? She's a diamond lining :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how life has a way of working out the way it's supposed to? So happy you have your little pumpkin.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome!
ReplyDelete:) Thank you sweet friend!
DeleteIt definitely worked out for you that his unit shut down! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is one precious little girl. Everything happens for a reason. I really believe that!
ReplyDeleteAww thank you!!! :)
DeleteHow cruel of you to make poor Emmy sit up ;) I am a total control freak so I'm not sure how I'd cope with army life to be honest, but you do it with grace and it looks like things have definitely worked out well for you.
ReplyDeleteI also am a big believer that things work out the way they are suppose to. Your baby girl is precious!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely a big believer in everything happening for a reason. Sounds to me like this move was the best thing for you guys!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful family! Everything happens for a reason!
ReplyDeleteIt really is amazing to look back on different moments in your life and realize that even if it wasn't something you were looking forward to, it was the right move in the long run!
ReplyDeleteMan has time flown! I feel like you guys just sold your house and moved!
ReplyDeleteRight?! It's crazy how fast time has flown by.
DeleteThis story is beautiful! And your daughter is getting cuter and cuter by the day. Baby faces make me laugh. Do they know they quiver that lip just so to pull at your heart strings??
ReplyDeleteIt didn't take my nieces long to get mad at people either.
ReplyDeletehaha! Seems pretty normal for kiddos. :)
DeleteI love her boo-boo lip! I also thank the Army, because of Johns unit reflagging, he came to Kentucky and we met. Yay for them getting it right once in a while ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to look at it! She is an absolute doll!
ReplyDeleteI firmly believe everything happens for a reason, whether that reason comes sooner rather than later. I am so so happy for you guys! When will you find out where you are headed next?
ReplyDeleteMan, 2 years already?! Can't believe it's been that long but it definitely worked out for the best for you guys! She's precious
