Oh how I needed this today!
I have always made it very clear that I run for no one else but ME. I will never be the fastest and I don't want to be. Running for me is therapeutic, it's my zen place and it's where I feel the most free.
I appreciate the support and encouragement I've gotten, it means the world to me.
Time to go lace up my shoes!
Have a great weekend everyone.
you go, girl! it's so awesome to find a fitness routine that really works for you. :)
ReplyDeleteYou go girl!!! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteAmen! TGIF, chickie!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great run and an awesome weekend!
ReplyDeleteI need to get back somewhere warm! Once it gets cold, I stop running. And then I have to start all over in the spring. I'm fortunate that yoga keeps me fit enough to stay at a 2 mile minimum distance whenever I do randomly go out, but seriously, I need to find motivation in the winter! Maybe I'll just come to EP and run with you where it's warm!
ReplyDeleteHave a great run girl ... which reminds me .. time to get mine on and get at it!

It is my time to be by myself. I get it. It is like a zen place for me too. I know I will never win awards or finish first, but knowing that I cross the finish line is good enough for me.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!! Hope you have a great weekend Jen!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope you had a great one. :)
Deletethis is perfect. thanks for the reminder and inspiration! XO

You can tell you are happy when you run. Why else would you do it so often?! It's a good hobby to have.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you get a lot out of running. When I walk I get time to myself and it is just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI have an award fro you! Swing by and grab it!
ReplyDeleteYou are my running inspiration! I might try to pick up running when it warms up in the spring
ReplyDeleteHave a great day, Jen! I agree, running is therapy and meditation. I do run away from my problems, and at some point, my mind just goes quiet... Probably I run for these moments!
ReplyDeleteYou are an inspiration! I have a run in 10 minutes... I want to have your dedication and attitude!

I started running again after several years break. I'm not consistent in length or time but to me it's relaxing. crazy i know.
ReplyDeleteCould you do a post on your running / race gear? I'd love to see what you recommend.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found something therapeutic that you like for you. And I love that it's something you can do w/your husband too!
ReplyDeleteI run for ME too! I just hope that I can get back at it sooner than later ;)
