I can't believe that we are 2 weeks away from Thanksgiving! This year is flying by, it seems like we just celebrated New Years.
Part of me is itching to decorate for Christmas because we won't be in our house for it this year. I am holding off though at the request of Kyle (don't worry I have decorated for Thanksgiving so I'm not skipping that holiday at all). We will decorate the day after Thanksgiving and leave everything up until we get back from block leave. I am however done Christmas shopping so I am somewhat ahead of the game haha.
Thanks to Target, we picked up a few more boxes of lights, ornaments and this awesome outside decoration, how cute is this?!

I even got some new coffee mugs, bought a set of 3 for $10. :)
I LOVE that tinsel dachshund! So stinking cute! I usually always decorate on Black Friday when my husband is working but I'm so excited he is off this year and we can do it together. I've been in the Christmas spirit already too. I watch Hallmark movies all the time already! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous that you're already done with your Christmas shopping. I haven't even started. :S
ReplyDeleteI would also decorate for Christmas now if I could! But, I also will wait until the day after Thanksgiving to pull it all out!
ReplyDeleteTarget has some cute stuff these days. And lots of maroon and orange for Thanksgiving. But I do feel guilty buying Christmas décor before Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteI decorated for Christmas this year before Halloween even passed. My Christmas stuff was in the trunk of my car and I needed to bring it in so I could put my summer clothes in my car. I didn't have a place to store the boxes so I decided to just go ahead and decorate. I'll have to take my Christmas decorations down on December 12th when I move back home, though!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love the daschund, now im going to target to see if I can get one. So cute!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe usually decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving. It annoys my husband but I want to have our tree up for as long as possible. Hopefully this year he won't give me too much hassle. I wish I was done shopping.
ReplyDeleteChristmas mugs are the BEST!! I'm about to pull ours out!
ReplyDeleteAwww... These are so cute! I'm decorating the weekend before Thanksgiving this year since Thanksgiving is so late!
ReplyDeleteHAHA! I love the light up Emma! That is too cute! You'll have to get a picture of them together! I always make myself wait until after Thanksgiving, but if it was socially acceptable, I'd have lights on my house Nov. 1.
ReplyDeleteYou are done xmas shopping???!!!! I have not even started. I also have no idea what I am getting anyone. Ugh…maybe I will think about that after thanksgiving. haha
ReplyDeleteI haven't put anything up per say but I have had J drag all the boxes out of the garage. We have already started making the paper chains and snowflakes. This year the snowflakes will be Star Wars design for the most part. I'm such a kid at heart.
ReplyDeleteLove your tinsel dog!! This weekend I will be decorating for Christmas and I am sooooo excited! :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, that weenie dog is hilarious! We normally decorate the day after Thanksgiving, but my MIL will still be in town, so we'll hold off until she leaves. I like decorating to just be a family event, and I don't need the stress of having my MIL tell me how she thinks I should do things. ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou are done Christmas shopping?!? WOW you are good! I haven't even started.
ReplyDeleteI love that Weinerdog! Too cute. We usually decorate the first weekend in December. This is our first Christmas in Hawaii and it still feels like summer to me. I can't believe it's almost Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Your mug is soooo cute! We usually decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving. I don't like to put things up too early or else they don't have that "special" feel to them.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I will probably start decorating this weekend. I am amazed at how long I have held off. I usually do it over Thanksgiving break, but I got the holiday bug early this year!
ReplyDeleteWe start decorating for Christmas after Thanksgiving. Usually get the tree up that weekend or the 1st Sat of Dec. I am nearly done shopping, not done cards yet, but that's after Tday as well. I might buy another Christmasy mug. If I find something cute. Bought one last year 2nd hand that's got snowmen family on it and trees and snow....cute! Just need to find somewhere to store them all year.
ReplyDeletethat stuff is cute! i miss target so bad (but my bank account definitely doesn't, lol).
ReplyDeleteI love the dog decoration! How cute!
ReplyDeleteLove love LOVE your mugs! And for the record, I also love your quote about running which is up today. I think we all should have that something we do just for US. for YOURSELF. It is so important to commit to just one thing to help yourself love, live, and thrive in life. Have a good weekend, dearest Jen!
ReplyDeleteThe tinsel doggie is adorable!! I'm thinking about getting an LED polar bear, still stuggling with the decision as I don'T want to add to the stuff we need to move neaxt year ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love decorating for Christmas! Target is my favorite place for holiday decor!
ReplyDeletethe tinsel dog is perfect. for. you! so cute!
ReplyDeleteYou got some cute things! We decorate the day after Thanksgiving, only because hubby won't have it until then. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm debating on whether to decorate or not...We decided to do a DITTY, so I don't know if we need the hassle! Decisions, decisions.
ReplyDeleteThat cup is adorable!
