Every now and then I will go through pictures on my FB and this is the one I found yesterday. 1 year ago today I was enjoying this gorgeous view:
This was taken at our hotel in Myrtle Beach, SC. From 2009-2012 we spent Easter there, it became our tradition. Oh how I miss this place and really want a beach vacation.
Anyone else need a beach getaway?! :)
Have a great day!
I actually don't like the beach. I hate sand and I refuse to go into the ocean! LOL. I'm more of a mountain view kinda girl!
ReplyDeleteI've been craving a beach vacation too! It's the perfect time to be planning one :)
ReplyDeleteI always get so tired of the beach. I never think dealing with the sand is worth it. The view is pretty amazing though...from a balcony, away from the sand. Ha ha
ReplyDeleteA getaway is most definitely needed!! We went to Mrytle for a retreat last summer. We had a blast there!
ReplyDeleteYES! I need one!!!!!

I could definitely use a beach getaway! But, unfortunately we are settling for St. Louis later this week. Could we get any farther from the beach? :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks so good! I would love a beach gettaway, but only if it is a nice beach and sun! :D :D (Last trip it was sun but not nice beaches!)
ReplyDeleteI want to be there right about now!!!!! I need a vacay really bad!! Want to meet at the beach - hehe!
ReplyDeleteI know I've just recently returned from time at the beach but I am looking forward to my August trip to Hawaii already!! haha
ReplyDeleteThe picture is gorgeous. I've only traveled through the state, but have never stopped. Everyone who goes says they love it.
ReplyDeleteYES! El Paso may have the palm trees and the sand, but it's lacking the major component ... water! Good thing I have a vacay to San Diego planned for later this summer! :D
ReplyDeleteHaha yes! :) I love San Diego!
DeleteOh man, Myrtle is such a beautiful place! I've been there once before for a college golf tournament and loved it. I definitely agree with you about needing a beach getaway - it's going to be 70 in CT today, but it's just not the same in an office haha!
ReplyDeleteI need one BAD!!!
ReplyDeleteOh yes - I want a beach badly!
ReplyDeleteI really need a beach getaway. Not much sun here in WA state!
ReplyDeleteI DO! I DO!
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty! I have never been to Myrtle Beach, but I hear it is great.
ReplyDeleteI live on the Gulf, but the beaches here are dirty. I would love to hit the beaches in Florida or the Caribbean. :)
Gorgeous! I would love to be there right now! :-)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the Carolina's...I could totally live there! Anywhere is better than Indiana right now :)
ReplyDeleteThat is such a lovely picture. I guess I have a little love-hate relationship with beaches. On the one hand I love digging my feet in warm sand and the way my skin feels later. On the other hand I hate having sand and salt-water stains everywhere :-)

ReplyDeleteHaha I can understand that. :) It's such an amazing place, I have so many wonderful memories from this place.
DeleteYes, I'd like to be right there, right now.
ReplyDeleteHa, and here I am excited to be heading home in the middle of tornado season! :) but that ocean does look amazing!
ReplyDeleteI am definitely hoping for a beach trip soon! We are actually going to mrytle this summer!
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful. I so need a beach getaway. I actually talked to my husband about going soon. I live 30 minutes from the ocean and haven't been in a couple years! :)
ReplyDeleteOh how I need a beach in my life!
ReplyDeleteOoh...I've never been to Myrtle Beach, but I'd sure like to be there right now! I think the beach is the perfect way to start spring off. At least I think so. I've never tested the theory.
ReplyDeleteAhhh Myrtle. We have a family beach house down on Ocean Isle Beach -- so about an hour away from Myrtle. It's so nice down there, at least for a getaway. I can't wait for this summer!
