For the last week I feel like I have been going a 100 miles a minute. Kyle's parents flew in last Thursday to visit for a a few days so it was non-stop since then. I went from having 4 people in the house down to 3 when Kyle left early early yesterday morning for Louisiana and then finally down to 1 (me) when I dropped my in-laws off at the airport today. It was a great visit.
Kyle will be gone until next Tuesday which isn't so bad. We have our batallion ball on Feb 4th and I am soooooo excited!!! I love the people Kyle works with and their spouses, it will be a fantastic night!! We got a room at the hotel it is being held at so that we don't have to go very far when it is over.
I just know that these next few months are going to fly by, which really does not make me happy. Before we know it deployment will be here, we aren't sure yet as to how long Kyle will be gone, but as always hope for 6 months but expect a year.
I have been slowly catching up on everyones blogs, I have missed reading them!!! My plan is to plant myself on the couch tonight and read.
I hope everyone is having a great day!!
Wow, girl, you sure have been busy! Sometimes having that alone time is just what you need.
ReplyDeleteFound you through another military blog. I can understand how you feel a bit, trying to make as many memories as possible before he leaves. Don't worry about what is coming, instead try to enjoy the here and now. I wish you the best of luck these coming months!
