Holy Snow!!!

Well...as Kyle and I woke up this morning at 7am, Fort Bragg was covered in SNOW!!! Its still coming down, I havent really experienced snow like this before in my life, its amazing! They have closed post today, so Kyle is home again for a 5th day! :) Our animals arent quite sure what to think of it. Emma wont go outside of course, we've tried lol. I was able to get some pictures this morning...hopefully it stays long enough to get more! :)

Happy New Year!!

Well everyone, Happy 2009! Kyle and I are back in NC after 2 wonderful weeks in Las Vegas! We were so lucky to be able to spend time with our families and just relax!! We arent sure when we will be going back to Vegas so it was nice. We were able to do quite a bit while we were home, go bowling (watch our niece Kylie bowl for the first time was awesome), see some good movies, eat some great food, and just enjoy our families company. We did a joint gift exchange with our families and it turned out great!!! :) Overall, it was a great trip! Although we were very sad to leave, we are also glad to be home, yes its back to the same ole' grind everyday but we love it!! :) Well, I just wanted to update everyone. 2008 comes to an end...

Well 2008 is officially over! What a year it has been...Kyle and I got married, moved to NC and things are great. Today is our last night in Vegas and it has been a good trip home. :) I will post some new pictures when we get back to NC tomorrow. Happy New Year!!!

Our Wonderful Christmas!

Well, it is now a week until we leave for Las Vegas to be with our families for Christmas. So, today we did our Christmas together. It started out this morning unwrapping our gifts, believe me we are both very spoiled. :) We had gotten little gifts for our dog and cat, treats and toys of course. Watching them both trying to unwrap them out of the tissue paper was priceless. I made waffles for breakfast, Kyle can never say no to waffles :) It was very special days us which was capped off by us going bowling. Now for those of you who dont know this, Kyle and I go bowling every Saturday, this is our tradition that we have made. We both bought each other a bowling ball for Christmas :) Well, this pretty much sums up our Christmas together. We are excited to be in Vegas next weekend. I will update again half way through our trip!! :) Merry Christmas!!

Christmas Time!

Well...I cant believe its only 14 days away from Christmas! We are headed to Las Vegas on the 20th for 2 weeks with family and friends. It is going to be an awesome time! We are really looking forward to getting both families together for Christmas! We are boarding our cat, Fishy, but we are taking our dog, Emma with us....as my mom is anxiouslly awaiting her arrival :) Kyle and I are doing our Christmas together here in NC on Saturday, that way we dont have to bring our gifts for each other to Vegas. We are just looking forward to an awesome Christmas season!!! Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Thanksgiving...

Well another Thanksgiving has come and gone. Kyle and I had an amazing Thanksgiving together. We celebrated it on the 26th, as I was leaving for Las Vegas on Thanksgiving Day. It was a very special day for us, not only being our first Thanksgiving together but Kyle was promoted to 1LT. It was a great day! We had an awesome dinner and just spend the rest of the day relaxing and having a great time. I left the next day for Vegas and stayed for almost a week. Kyle unfortunately had to be in the field starting on Dec 2nd, so we didnt see each other again until the 9th...definitely too long. :)

Hello!!

Well, here goes our shot at blogging!! HaHa...never done this before so this should be interesting! We are Kyle and Jennifer Smith and we are currently living in Fort Bragg, NC. I am a homemaker and I love every minute of it! Kyle is currently a 2LT in the United States Army. We are enjoying our new life as newleyweds and we couldnt be happier!! Well hopefully I can keep this thing updated and give you a sneak peek into our lives! :)
