I'm Hooked

Yup this is so true!

I had plans to check out the yoga class in town but even after getting there 30 minutes early it was full. I didn't want to give up so I found a 30 Days of Yoga program on YouTube and I'm hooked! Even Fishy gets in on the action by sitting on my yoga mat lol.

I love being able to do it in the comfort of my own home and let me tell you I am already sore and feel so much better! Adding this into my running schedule I can already tell is going to make a huge difference.

Even though I was a skeptic before I am saying yay to yoga haha.

Happy Wednesday everyone!

  1. Oh gosh... yoga and I do NOT mix. I wish I was better at it... and I'm sure it just takes time. But when something I *thought* would be light exercise makes my body feel worse than running 10 miles... nope. :-P

  2. YAY, so glad you like yoga! It can be tough in the beginning but small flexibility victories are the best.

  3. I've been wanting to do yoga (I've never done it before), but I never seem to get the motivation of finding a good yoga program and doing it.

  4. If you want to mix it up, Pilates is also great!

  7. I love yoga!I used to go to the lunch break yoga class at work until my bronchitis, and then I did some pregnancy yoga at home when I was pregnant with Calvin. Miss it a lot these days and plan on starting early morning yoga with Lily :-) Enjoy your exercise!!

  8. I need to start doing yoga, because I find that my anxiety lately is off the charts. So many people have suggested it, but like you, every place I've tried to go is full. You are my motivation to look some stuff up online :)

  9. I used to love yoga and it was so good for my back, but I think those benefits are negated when you include a two year old boy trying to climb all over you like a playground while you're in a pose, haha #missyouyoga

  13. I don't think I could ever love yoga the way I love Pilates, but yoga is something that's so easy to do at home and I'm glad you see how it will help you (you runner lol).

  14. I really need to try yoga. I think once both kids are back in school, I will have a bit more time to try it. Every time I try a work out, I end up stopping several times to deal with the kids.

  15. Yoga is something I'd like to give a try. Although I'd more than likely do it at home too, rather than a class.
