Race Bucket List

I think it is safe to say that every runner has a bucket list of races that they want to complete. For me there are 4 that I have always wanted to complete and 3 of them I am already registered for.

Tinker Bell Half Marathon. I promise you that this will happen in 2016! It has been a race that I've always dreamed about completing, I want to go all out and dress up because it's just what you do when you run a Disney race. :)




Rock n Roll New Orleans Marathon. This will be my 2nd marathon and I am beyond excited. The idea of running through New Orleans with thousands of other people is really cool to me. February 28, 2016 is going to be an awesome day.



 Pensacola Half Marathon. Ever since my sister moved to Florida this is a run that has always been stuck in my mind. Running along the bay is going to be absolutely amazing, I am all about views when it comes to running.



A Christmas Story Run 5k. This race takes place on December 5, 2015 in Cleveland where the movie was filmed. We can't make it to Cleveland so we signed up for the virtual race. This is one of my favorite movies and to participate even from far away is still pretty awesome. I am obsessed with the medal for this years run.

How rad is this?!



I can't wait to officially check these races off my list!

    So cool that you're registered for so many cool races!! My dream race is the Paris Marathon... but that's definitely out of my price range for the forseeable future, haha!

    No way!! That Christmas Story 5k sounds AWESOME. I ran the Tinker Bell a couple years ago, and it was wonderful. Such an avid runner you are, you should think about doing the Coast to Coast next year with that and one of the Florida Disney races!

    I have ALWAYS wanted to do a Disney run! Ah! The timing is just never right. The Pensacola one sounds awesome. My sister is moving to Florida, so I'm going to try and find one close to the beach. :) I have never done the Rock N Roll in New Orleans, but I have done the Savannah and Nashville ones and I love them!

    I really want to run the tinkerbell 1/2 it looks like so much fun. The Christmas Story also looks like fun!

    I've always wanted to do the Marine Corps Marathon.... okay, the MCM 10k. Even though I don't run a 5k, much less a 10k.

    I like the Christmas Story movie as well! The medal is indeed something you need to add to your collection! We are staying home this weekend, hopefully cooler than it has been the past two days over 100!!!! Not usual in our part of Oregon. Thankful for a/c at work, in car, at home, in stores where I shop.     The Tinkerbell Race sounds like so much fun! I want to do the Fränkische schweiz Marathon right in front of my door at some point, It's a hard one, with a lot of up- and downhill stretches, but the scenery is just beautiful!

    I want to do the Disney Princess marathon so bad! It always sells out so quick so make sure you register for an email reminder!

    Registration opens for Tinkerbell on August 11th at noon! I am running the princess 5k and 1/2 this year. My first 1/2 marathon ever and I'm so excited. You can also sign up through a charity (select ones on the run Disney website) and run with their "team". You basically just get to raise money for them, it's pretty cool. I picked Homes For Our Troops.

    What an exciting list! I think one of the coolest things about the races people do is seeing the neat locations. Well, and the creative medals. That "Christmas Story" one is hilarious!
