Lately I feel like I have been making the same old things, there are permanent staples in my meal rotation but I am ready to change it up some. These recipes aren't fussy, they are simple and that is what I look for.
I have pretty much become obsessed with the Pioneer Woman, and have 5 of her recipes ready to go for this week. Here is what I have chosen:
I also have been looking for an easy muffin recipe that I can make in bigger batches and have all week. I made them over the weekend and they are delicious!:
I can't wait to try these recipes this week and let you know how they are.
What are some of your favorites recipes?
...and now I am hungry! LOL
ReplyDeleteYum! I have made lasagna roll-ups before. They are pretty good! :) My husband doesn't like having the same meals very often, so I feel like I'm constantly on Pinterest making meal plans, haha. I think I may FINALLY have enough recipes that worked for us saved up that I can start rotating them and only adding in new recipes once a week or so... it's my goal to get all of our recipes typed out and into a cookbook so it's much easier for me. I get so overwhelmed trying to meal plan, grocery shop, and cook because it's not natural to me, haha.
ReplyDeleteYUM. I love Pioneer Woman!!! I binge watch her on Netflix. I always feel like I'm struggling to find recipes to make that are quick and easy for the 3 of us. I loving making pot pie. It is something Jack actually eats. I load it with chicken, peas, carrots, corn. I put spinach and broccoli in the blender b/c he is picky about texture. I top with with pre made pie crust and it lasts a good week. I freeze small containers for him too. Last night I made a 1 pot pasta dish! It was AWESOME!!! I added a box of spaghetti, 2 cups of chicken broth, 2.5 cups of water, 2 zucchini, broccoli, baby portabella mushrooms, garlic gloves, onion and rosemary. Cooked for 25 minutes. Can't wait for leftovers!!
ReplyDeleteMy mom and I are on the hunt for new recipes too. We've been buying a lot of steaks, chicken, and pork chops when they are on sale at the grocery store and freezing them. Tonight we are having lemon pepper tilapia. I'm excited becauset this is my first time making tilapia!
ReplyDeleteOh the tequila lime chicken looks amazing! When Dane is away, I barely cook, but I need to get better about feeding myself. I might make some of these and be able to rotate them throughout the week for lunches and dinners! Thanks for posting :)
ReplyDeleteThat tequila lime chicken looks divine! I recently jumped on the "zoodles" bandwagon, and I'm loving them!
ReplyDeleteI have to break out old cookbooks to find new stuff. I get tired of the same thing. I like the Pioneer Woman. Most of her stuff is quick and tasty.
ReplyDeleteYum, you really can't go wrong with Miss Ree!! These all look fantastic, especially the muffins. Can't wait to see how the rest of it comes out!
ReplyDeleteDrool.
ReplyDeleteI really shouldn't have opened this post when I'm an hour away from dinner and starving!
They all sound so good. I can't wait to hear what you think about them!
ReplyDeleteOh man these looks so good. I always look at her recipes for a cheat meal, or a yummy dinner for the kids (even though I sneak a few bites). All her stuff is so good!
ReplyDeleteGirlllll I have a whole pinterest folder full of my favorites! I'm a pinterest cooking fool. That probably makes me, in layman'so terms, a basic bitch. I also wear uggs and shorts which truly makes me the basic-est of all!
ReplyDeleteI'm actually making lasagna roll-ups this week, too! And I own all of Ree's cookbooks and haven't actually made of her recipes, haha.
ReplyDeleteMmmm I love carbs in the morning haha. Might have to try those breakfast muffins.
ReplyDeleteThis week, I made broccoli cheese soup for lunch and spaghetti squash with jar spaghetti sauce and turkey meatballs for dinner. I cook once and eat it all week long. Your menu sounds delicious! estherdavison@gmail.com
