Retail Therapy

Let me just say that yesterday was not a good day for me. First, our freezer broke...definitely annoying but thankfully we have a deep freezer in the garage. Then we found out Kyle got bumped to the wait list for Ranger School (after he was already given a reservation), his BN commander has been making calls so hopefully he secures another spot in a few weeks. These may seem trivial but when you add in crazy hormones I was a mess lol.

To help ease the bad day vibes I treated myself to a little retail therapy. I am obsessed with the Old Navy outlet here. They were having some awesome sales so I picked up these gems.

I got these on Sunday when I ventured out, love them!

I also got these sandals from Rack Room Shoes (I am notorious for buying the same shoes in different colors lol)

I felt better by the time I got home and I was also able to finish all of my school work for the week.

Here is hoping today is better! :)

Hope you all have a great Wednesday!

  8. Ugh! I hope Kyle gets another spot soon. But yay for a little retail therapy....in some cases much cheaper than actual therapy, so I call it a win!

  11. HOLD THE PHONE an Old Navy outlet!?!?!?! Now that I got that off my chest!!! I'm so sorry you had a rough day! Hope the Old Navy purchases made it a bit better. I'm terrible because shopping always make me feel better!!!! ALWAYS! BTW, for some crazy reason I don't get email alerts when you comment on my blog so I can't respond to you. I'm not sure why but I do read them all and thank you for all the wonderful, kind words!!!! xoxo

  14. Nice clothes! Well, we had to call the repairman for our heat pump. One little things costs us way more money than expected. But comfort is a plus. Sigh! Hope you get your freezer fixed soon and cheer up, my friend. I know you are going thru some rough times. Hugs!

  19. totally feel you on the work-related disappointments. hubs worked for a year on his OTS package, submitted it all to the board, then they decided to only take people with science degrees so it didn't even get looked at. then he tried to apply for a special duty assignment and the AF messed up the process so that fell through. THEN he tried to jump on a DEROS curtailment to better our timing out of here but his commander wants him to stay since he'll be the senior enlisted. yay military, right? lol.

love the clothes though! old navy is one of the few places that ship here super fast so they get too much of my money. if only i could find a good online place for shoe shopping--but maybe it's better for my wallet i don't. ;)
