The Change of Command yesterday was absolutely perfect. It was nice to have family and so many friends there to show support. Two wonderful blogger turned real-life friends were there as well, Britt from Aviation of Love and Jax from the harmon squad. The ceremony started right at 10:30 and lasted about 30 minutes. I was presented a gorgeous bouquet of yellow roses to welcome me to the company. It was followed by a reception that everyone seemed to enjoy! We had the commissary do all the food and it was wonderful, reasonably priced and delicious. Everything went off without a hitch and we were both very thankful for that.

Kyle's parents will be here visiting until Monday. My Dad is flying back to Vegas tonight after only being here roughly 18 hours. Kyle was genuinely shocked and surprised that he was able to make it.
Now the work begins, I know Kyle will be an outstanding commander (of course I might be biased). All I can say is let the adventure begin! :)
