Yesterday I was so excited to finally meetup with a longtime blogger friend, Jaci from Me and My SoldierMan. She invited me to a luncheon for the Fort Bliss Officer and Civilian Spouse Association (which I am now a member off, woo!). I had a great time hanging out with her and meeting some other ladies. We snapped this picture before we left:
Before I met up with Jaci, I went to the newcomer's brief with Kyle. I got to see a wonderful friend from Bragg (she and her husband just pcs'd here as well), so nice to see a familiar face in a new and unfamiliar place. It was great to meet a few people from his new unit. Everyone here is so incredibly nice and relaxed, definitely a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of Bragg.

Wow! This is great! Your outfit is too cute. It is nice to see familiar faces at a new duty station. I remember after an overseas tour and moving back to FL, I ran into SO many of my former classmates in the area. it was nice and it also looked like FL was the next place everyone from Sicily PCS'd too.

ReplyDeleteWe went to see my husband's father and had a pleasant visit with him. After retuning home, he died the very next day. He lived a blessed and long life, so even thought there is grief, we have so much for which to give the Lord thanks. I am so thankful we were able to see him.
It is great to see that you are happy where you are.
