After Kyle being off work for about 3 weeks he finally goes back to work on Thursday. Now don't get me wrong, I have LOVED every second of him being home, but I know we are both ready for things to get back to normal. He is ready to get into the swing of things in a new unit as am I. I am excited to see how the new unit is and the FRG.
Since
we had 2 days of snow our landscaping for the backyard had to be pushed
back a few days. They will be coming out on the 15th to start, can't
wait for Emma to have some grass. I know she will be so happy plus I'm ready to not see dirt in the backyard.
Besides getting our house in order I have been doing quite a lot of reading lately. I finally caved and read the Fifty Shades of Grey series. Oh wow. Yes they are very very graphic and not very well written but I loved the story behind it all. I have a few other books on my reading list thanks to a few suggestions from friends, I'm sure I will get to them at some point. If you have any good book suggestions feel free to throw them my way.
Oh and a random piece of information here is the awesome bumper sticker that I bought for Kyle:
Hahaha, he drives a Honda Element and he has been wanting this for as long as I can remember. I figured it was time to find it and buy one. He will be so happy.
Today we plan on doing absolutely nothing, which I am perfectly ok with. We are taking a break from getting the house organized to just rest. It feels like we have been going at full steam since we got here. It will be nice to lounge around in pj's all day.

Have a great day!
I totally agree on the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy, not well written, however I couldn't put it down. The story line was great and it was pretty addicting! Im reading now a similar one and, again, I'm hooked!
ReplyDeleteLove that sticker :)
That sticker is awesome! Lol. So glad things are feeling settled with you. I hope you have a great week! :)
ReplyDeleteI used to make fun of those toasters. Now, I drive one. I've gotten so used to seeing all these square boxy cars here that I'm pretty sure I'm going to miss them once we move back!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! That bumper sticker is cute! I still haven't read 50 Shades.. You saying that it isn't well written doesn't give me much hope either.. LOL Hope you have a great day relaxing!
ReplyDeleteI'm overly excited about your grass. LOL. Very intrigued.
ReplyDeleteWe switch units in October (again) & I still haven't been welcomed or even emailed by the new FRG. So crazy. The hubs went back last Thursday it is so nice to gradually be getting in a schedule. So happy for all your new things going on in your life. You deserve it! Xoxo
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your pj lounge day!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am still reading the 50 shades. I get into it, then I do not. Lounge days are nice. Enjoy it! Bumper sticker is too cute. What other books are you planning to read?
ReplyDeleteI'm so anxious to see how your yard turns out! What a great idea with the artificial grass. That's my kind of lawn...one that never needs to be mowed :p

ReplyDeleteSounds like a great day! I always enjoy having time off with my hubby but it's always nice to get back to normal.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big reader, but I haven't read the 50 Shades books yet. I'm sure I will eventually, though. :)
Love that bumper sticker! (I drive a Kia Soul aka the "Hamster-mobile" as my friends call it).
ReplyDeleteHave you read "The Perks of Being a Wallflower"? Loved that one!
I am with you about the routine being nice. I was ready for it too. And I read all 3 50 books. They are terrible, but so good hah
ReplyDeleteSo I just busted out laughing. A toaster........ That rocks my day.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are getting settled and that you can start your "norm" again. And that bumper sticker is pretty much awesome. ;-)

I'm not sure if you watch The Bachelor, but one of the women was obsessed with 50 Shades. She even pulled a tie out of the top of her dress and wanted to tie her up. Sean's (the bachelor) response: "I have a rape whistle!" Hilarious! Needless to say, she got sent home.
ReplyDeleteOh man, I don't even get to lounge in my pj's when I'm sick, totally loving the idea! :)
ReplyDeleteomg, you caved in finally!? LOL!! I feel like I'm the last one standing as far as not reading those stupid freaking books! LOL! I feel like I should just go ahead and do it. but I haven't read the hunger games either, LOL
ReplyDeleteso now that you've read Fifty Shades you so need to go on my goodreads account girl! Check out some of the military romances I've read and find some. I've found them at Target and Wal-mart and ordered some for like 1cent on amazon. They are so silly, but so much fun! Then we can me lame together :)
