Some Things You Didn't Know...

I have been working on this post for a few days and to be honest it has been fun thinking about things that some people may now know about me.

Here we go:

I have a really hard time keeping my opinions to myself. I do however try to remember that there is a time and place for everything.

I went skydiving in 2006 with my sister. I have been wanting to do it again ever since.

I was born and raised in the same house my entire life, my Dad still lives in that same house. It's pretty awesome.

I used to be really involved in Church...however I was soured on it for various reasons and have found no reason to go back.

My first concert was Nine Inch Nails and A Perfect Circle, I was 12 years old and my Dad and brother took me. It was AMAZING...well until I got pulled into a mosh pit and my brother has to fish me out. :)

I don't like wine...I have tried all kinds and nope not liking it.

I have an obsession with slipper socks, I have roughly 25 pairs and they all correspond to holidays. Yup, thanks Target.

When I was growing up I wanted to be an architect, not sure what happened to that dream. Oh yeah I can't draw and I hate math. lol.

I have never seen any of the Stars Wars movies, Kyle is trying to change that haha.

I have never broken a bone but now that I have said that I might have jinxed myself.

I hope you enjoyed these! Have an amazing weekend everyone!

  1. Fun! I like learning more about the person behind the blog. You broke yourself right in to the concert arena starting w/a Trent Reznor show!! My BIL used to go see them anytime they were close by.

  3. I've never seen a single Star Wars movie either....I've been married 6 1/2 years to a Star Wars fan, and I have yet to be forced into watching it!

  6. Cheers my fellow non-wine drinker!! I try to like it, but it just gives me an instant headache. I'm more of a rum girl. ;)

  7. I watched Star Wars when I was in high school after a friend told me how good they were... I didn't quite see the appeal. Maybe I'll have to give them another shot.

  8. Oh man, that is the worst that your church experience wasn't great. I saw one Star Wars movie once and fell asleep halfway through lol

  9. Jarrod has been introducing Trenton and Charlotte Star Wars this summer. They love it. They play "lightsaber" every evening after Jarrod gets home.

  10. I had a not so good experience with Church in my life too. I can't seem to see myself going again either. I'm trying so hard to like wine! I wish I did haha but maybe it's just not for me - or you!

  13. Love this post!! Slipper socks are amazing, I loved the Halloween ones you put in Insta the other day! My parents also still live in the same house where I grew up all my life; I think it's pretty cool.

  14. My parents still live in the same house too. They got it when I was two, so it's the only "home" I've ever had. I love it!
