A Girl and Her Furry Siblings

I know how most people feel about people calling pets their "kids" but I don't care, they are my babies too.

Before Emmy was born I had purchased her a onesie that says "My Siblings Have Tails". I could not wait for her to fit into it. Well the time has come haha.

I will say that she is absolutely fascinated by Fishy and Emma. She loves it when Emma licks her hands, she giggles with excitement, and it's the sweetest thing ever. She gets a huge grin on her face when she sees them and they don't seem to mind her either. It took Emma a bit to warm up to her but Fishy has always seemed to like her, he gets super upset when she cries and has to be near her.

These pictures make me smile and laugh at the same time. E has such a funny personality and clearly tolerates me while I try to snap cute pictures.

I hope she always loves her furry siblings!

  2. Aww! So cute! I too am obsessed with our dogs, they definitely get treated like one of my kids with all their homemade food and pampering. Plus they fit so perfectly into all the craziness :)

  3. I cried more over my dogs that most of the family members that have died. When the doctor told me her fate (but she still had about a month) I broke down and cried in the car. I had plenty of time to prepare but the tears still came out.

    1. It's hard when pets become such a part of your lives, losing them is so hard.

  10. So the running joke in the family is that Dart is going to get a rude awakening when we have kids, but like you Dart is our fur baby and I know that he'll still be spoiled rotten even when we have human kids. That onesie is so adorable, and that's so awesome that E loves her fur siblings and that they love her!

  11. Such cute photos of E and her furry siblings! My youngest granddaughter gets frightened by a cat that comes by their patio door but she adores their hens! Thanks for sharing the photos and your joy!

  12. Jen, I am so glad I was able to reconnect with you. I lost the link to your blog awhile ago when I switched domains...and you had a sweet baby girl in the meantime! I know the struggles you have been through and it makes my heart happy to see that God is SO good and has answered your prayers. She is beautiful. It looks like you have been very well :) XOXO, Rachael

  15. My niece who is a few months older than Emersyn will throw the toys and play tug of war with their dog. It's pretty cute. I'm not sure what is cuter than babies and animals together!

  17. I love when my kids interact with the pets. I imagine dogs are more responsive but all my cats love napping with my kiddos and it is so cute!
