7 months!

I realized yesterday that I am 7 months away from graduating college, holy cow! I never thought that at my age I would go back to school and actually finish.Thank goodness for that nifty GI Bill that Kyle transferred to me! I have heard people say that taking classes online is easy, that is definitely not the case. I have enjoyed the challenge and fully support online schooling.

I was going to submit my graduation application this week but the system was acting up so I am going to wait until I finish these classes to get it all done. Since I will have over a year left on my GI Bill once I graduate I decided that I will start my Masters in October. That is definitely something I never thought I would do, it really is amazing how things change.

My views will continue to be this until I am finished but you know I wouldn't trade it for anything!

These are 2 of my biggest goals for 2015 and I am excited that they will become a reality!

Have a great Thursday. :)

  4. Congratulations! I'm so excited for you. What will you be getting your Master's degree in? Will you be doing an online school or a brick and mortar school?

  7. How exciting! Graduating and walking to get my diploma was one of the coolest things I've accomplished! That expensive piece of paper is worth it in the long run! :)

  8. This is so awesome! And taking online classes is NOT easy. I went to class for two years and then did online classes after having Ace and it took way more discipline and organization than going to campus. Good for you!

  12. I can't imagine going back to school now! I'm so out of the habit of studying and doing homework. Plus, my perfectionism slows me down a lot. I'm majorly impressed by people who get their degrees years later, as you're doing. How sweet will it be when you graduate in 7 months!

  15. Congratulations! That is a big accomplishment. I work at a university as the VA Certifying Official (and teach online) so I am very familiar with the time commitment adults make when going back to school, especially military students and their spouses/dependents. Good for you for completing your degree and moving on to a masters!
