It's Over?!

I'm sad that the weekend is already over, it was definitely a good one. Friday was low-key after a long work week for Kyle so we stayed at home.

Saturday was the day I had been waiting for since I was 9 years old! I was finally going to be seeing one of my favorite artists Marilyn Manson in concert.. He is on tour right now with an absolute rock icon, Alice Cooper! Seeing these 2 perform was a dream come true for me, their tour is appropriately called "The Masters of Madness: Shock Therapy Tour".

The show started off with a great band from LA, called Picture Me Broken. Marilyn played for about an hour and 45 minutes. It was mind-blowing and AMAZING! Alice took the stage and played for about 2 hours and they ended the show with them singing "I'm Eighteen" together.  Kyle and I both walked out of there stunned and pumped after what we just experienced. They definitely have lived up to their monikers as "shock rockers" because the show was shocking and amazing haha.

Sunday was more laid back for us since we didn't get home until pretty late. We went grocery shopping and relaxed at home. I also was able to register us for our first 1/2 marathon!!




It's not until October so we have plenty of time to continue training. I can't wait!

    Amos still says that MM was the best show he has ever went to. Ha glad you all had a good time. Yay for registering for your half. That is so exciting!

    My first ever marathon was last October ... it's a great month for them! LOL
    And I love Marilyn Manson ... he's quirky but I love the music.

    I don't think I'd ever peg you for a Marilyn Manson fan! How fun, though. You know I love me a good concert.

    Also, good luck with the training! I don't know that I would ever be that brave.

    Alice Cooper was my husband's first concert and his dad took him, lol. I still laugh at the thought of 'grandpa' watching Alice Cooper. ;) Glad you had fun.

    I am glad you had such a great time! I saw Marilyn Manson exactly 10 years ago, and it was probably the best show ever. I bet Alice Cooper made it so much better, too!

    oh my, what a concert. I remember Alice Cooper, ok music back then. Ha, am telling my age! Glad you had a good time.
    I was at a Video Boot Camp for Photographers over the weekend. It was a good learning experience for me, challenging my photo knowledge and new learning curve. Not sure how much I can do but have some small ideas to do for me right now! No there weren't any combat boots required. Good things, cuz mine don't fit any more! :0_ Have a great week!

    I once woke up out of a dead sleep to a Marylin Manson video and it scared the crap out of me. He has freaked me out ever since. Lol
