Today was my scheduled IUI procedure, I was definitely nervous when I woke up this morning. It was over in a matter of minutes and I only had minor cramping. I was also given progesterone supplements to help with my hormones(with 3 previous miscarriages any help is good). Now we wait for 2 weeks to see if it was successful. We are praying so hard for this. Kyle leaves Monday for a month so I am bummed to find out on my own.
I hope everyone is having a great day!

PCS?! Yes Please!
Ok, so even though we have about a year before we PCS I am SO ready! With Kyle's impending deployment we know that this next year is going to fly by (hopefully). We have been talking lately about how we want to go about this move. We know that a few months before Kyle comes home he is going to start talking to branch about getting a CCC (Captains Career Course) date for when he comes home.
I will be so excited when we get orders and can head off to here:
As much as we both love Fort Bragg we are both ready for a change. It will be a huge adjustment especially for Kyle. Being with the 82nd for 3 years (4 years by the time we leave) is a different side of the Army. He is looking forward to a slower pace. We would love come back here later down the road, but right now we want to see somewhere else.
We will spend 6 1/2 months at Fort Huachuca (Arizona) and then who knows from there.
Kyle is down in Florida for a week at MacDill AFB and he sent me this picture:
Hmmm....maybe we could get posted here!?!?! We have a few friends that are posted there with the Army and absolutely love it.
No matter where we go it will be nice to have different scenery for a little while.

Valentine's Day Getaway
Earlier this week my hubby and I decided to have a nice one night getaway to Raleigh. We booked our room at the Renaissance Hotel for Friday night, it is a beautiful 4 Star Hotel:
We checked into our gorgeous room (there was even a 20 inch tv built into the bathroom mirror!!!!) and decided to head off to the Crabtree Valley Mall. After a little shopping we decided to have dinner here:
Yum!!! After we enjoyed some amazing Mongolian Beef and Sesame Chicken we decided to enjoy dessert here:
My favorite place!!!
After an amazing day with my love we decided to have a few drinks at the bar at the Hotel. We had fun people watching and chit-chatting with our bartender Peter. I am truly blessed to have such an amazing husband. I enjoy more than anything just spending time together laughing and taking advantage of the time we do have. I am so thankful for him:
(he was laughing, lol, so cute when he squints)
We woke up at 9am this morning to head down to breakfast before we left. I also was super excited about my gift, a new iPhone 4!! I have been figuring it out all day and having a blast!
Overall it has been a great weekend and we still have a few days left of this long weekend. Tomorrow we are going to a co-workers of Kyle's house for a mid-day barbeque, it should be a great time!
Kyle leaves Monday night for a week but that is ok it will give me some time to get details figured out his birthday bash figured out!
I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend!!

Silent Auction- Mardi Gras Style
Tonight was the 82nd Airborne Division Silent Auction. I attended this event 2 years ago and had a great time. The theme this year was Mardi Gras and it was amazing!! Each coffee group provided 3-4 gift baskets with a different theme. It was a great turn out, the first hour was the Silent part (I had my eye on a spa basket) and then we got into the Live Auction! Wow some women came to spend money and got a lot of use out of these:
Our awesome paddles!!
I believe overall a lot of money was raised tonight, considering 2 items went for over $400!!

Half way through the live auction they started announcing the winners of the silent auction. I was really hoping I won, once they got to the basket I wanted I was excited when they called my number!! Here is my basket:
Here is what is included:
$150 gift certificate to the Renaissance Day Spa
A TON of Mary Kay products!!
I am super excited to enjoy it! It was a great time hanging out with all the wonderful ladies of the Black Falcons.
*I wanted to update you all on my Mom. 2 weeks ago she wasn't able to have treatment because her white blood cell count was too low. Thankfully yesterday her count was back up where it should be and she got her treatment. She is doing well and staying strong.

Happy Valentine's Day!!
I hope everyone is having a beautiful day with your loved ones!!
Even though we didn't get the results we were hoping for at the doctors today (still more options to look at), we are still having a wonderful day!! It started off with me dropping these off at Kyle's work:
I always make special holidays cookies for Kyle and the guys (they were a HUGE hit)
I went shopping with a friend of mine to pick up Kyle's Valentine's Day gift, he has wanted this GPS Forerunner watch for as long as I can remember. With an upcoming deployment I figured it was time:
I won't have my gift until this weekend (he did surprise me with chocolate covered strawberries), I am super excited that on Saturday I will finally be a proud owner of this:
Wahoo!!!!
I am making stuffed shells tonight for a romantic dinner and plan on relaxing with my love.
Enjoy the day!!!

Good times
This weekend has definitely gone by way too fast. I spent the day shopping with my good friend, Melanie, yesterday. (Her husband works with Kyle) That night Kyle and I headed over to their house for dinner, we had a great time hanging out with them and their daughters Emma and Keelin.
I was on a mission yesterday to find a black outfit for a Silent Auction that the Division FRG is holding. Each battalion coffee group is dressing a certain way. So since we are the Black Falcons we figured all black would be the easiest. I found a really cute skirt yesterday and was just going to wear a black cardigan, but then went to JC Penney today and happened to stumble upon this dress:
It was on sale and really flattering on, jackpot!!! I am super excited to wear it.
I have a 6:30am Drs appt tomorrow morning, I will update everyone tomorrow on what I find out! So far everything is looking good just need another piece of information.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!!!

Weekend Fun!!!
What an awesome weekend!! We were going non-stop starting at 3pm on Friday, here is the run-down:
Friday: We headed off to the Holiday Inn Bordeaux to check into our room and for Kyle to check up on set up. A few friends stopped by our room for a celebratory drink beforehand because we had it stocked with good stuff. We got ready and headed down for a night of fun:
After the formal portion of the ball we let loose and danced until the DJ stopped at 11:30pm. We headed back to our room with good friends Rob and Melanie and continue the party until 2am. We had the best time with all of our friends. I am so proud of my husband and everyone who helped plan this amazing event. Kyle was pleasantly surprised when he was presented the Army Achievment Medal:
Saturday: We woke up around 10am and packed up our stuff to head home. Needless to say we were both feeling it from the night before haha. We did some shopping for our Super Bowl party on Sunday and relaxed most of the day. Earlier in the week I got 6 free tickets to the Fayetteville FireAntz Hockey game so we invited a few friends and had a great time!! Even though they lost it will still a lot of fun:
Sunday: What an awesome day!!! I spent most of the morning cooking for our Super Bowl party. We had everything: barbeque meatballs, chili, hot dogs, chicken wings (homemade), artichoke spinach dip and sooo many other yummy things. There was about 13 of us hanging out and enjoying the game. We had a blast and definitely stoked that the Packers beat the Steelers! It was a blast!
I am resting now from our jam-packed weekend lol, it was definitely worth it. I hope everyone had an awesome weekend!!!
I am going to leave you with this picture from the photo booth at the ball:
