Our weekend was fairly uneventful which was just what we needed after a busy week. It was a good day for mail in our house because we got our professional photos from the battalion ball:
I also received this amazing gift from my sister, it's called "My Sister, My Friend". I am so thankful to have her.
Saturday morning we got up and decided to go bowling. Kyle is playing on his units bowling team for the post commanders cup and wanted to get some practice in.
Afterwards we came home and I worked on volunteer gifts and certificates for our appreciation dinner this week. I can't wait to properly thank all of the amazing FRG volunteers on Wednesday.
Then it was time for school work and lots of it. I finished two papers and submitted some other work so it was quite successful.
Sunday was more relaxed as you can see by Emma and Fishy's demonstration. :) We did get in a nice 4.5 mile run and finished the day with laundry and catching up on the Olympics. Kyle even made dinner so I call that a win!
Awe the "kids" look so relaxed layin there. Love the professional picture from the ball! Sounds like a productive weekend!
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful! Glad you enjoyed a relaxing weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Catherine! :) It was great!
DeleteYour dress for the ball is GORGEOUS!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are always so busy! You accomplish so much, though!
ReplyDeleteYou two are seriously stunning. Love the figurine, I collect Willow Trees but ONLY for special occasions so I know how much a little figure like that can mean!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could get Mac to go bowling with me. His brother and I went almost every Friday for months during his first deployment. And I also wish I could get Mac to take professional photos at the few balls we've gone to. He just doesn't cooperate sometimes, haha.
ReplyDeleteThe nights Ryan makes dinners are my FAVORITE. When we first started dating and even in the beginning of our marriage he made dinners a lot. I don't know what changed...pinterest probably. ;)
ReplyDeleteYour dress from the ball was beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour ball picture turned out so nice. It sounds like you had a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteSuch a good looking couple! And seeing your green grass makes me happy as I haven't seen ours in months!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great weekend! I haven't been bowling in forever! Also it is always a good day when you get a bunch of school work done and the husband makes dinner! :)
ReplyDelete:) You can never go wrong with the husband cooking haha.
DeleteEven uneventful weekends seem like a pretty eventful weekend to me. If I ran 4.5 miles, I'd be stoked. Bahahahaha.
ReplyDeleteI love those figurines! I forgot what they're called...we got one when my daughter was born. So cute!
ReplyDeleteThat first picture is flawless! You two look awesome together :)
ReplyDeleteI laughed at the pictures of Emma & Fishy haha to cute! (OBSESSING over the sunshine and green grass in the picture of Emma)
Oh and I thought of you over the weekend. A new bridge just opened here and they had people do a run across it before opening it up to cars. I thought "Jen would be all over this if she was here." :)
Sounds like you accomplished a lot this weekend.
ReplyDeleteAww look at Emma and Fishy .. so cute! Montana is so cute when we catch her napping too. And you looked AMAZING in your gown for the batallion ball!! Hot stuff you! Kyle was pretty cute too :)
